Our Seniors

The backbone of every team are it’s seniors. They are the ones who set the culture of the team, know the temperature of the team, set the expectations and goals of the team. When a player from the great De La Salle High School was asked how did they win 151 games in a row he responded with one simple answer, the seniors. He said that no senior class didn’t want to be the one to ruin “The Streak”. The coaches didn’t have to do any of the discipline or teach the underclassmen the traditions, it was the senior who took on these responsibilities.

At Upland High School we rely heavily on our senior class to teach and guide our underclassmen. Some of our seniors are involved in our leadership council where they very instrumental in setting our goals and establishing our expectations for the year. Though we love all of our players we have a very special place in our hearts for our seniors. Especially for those who have been in the program for all four years.
